About me
I am a Myanmar researcher and peacebuilding practitioner with more than a decade of experience. My work is driven by a deep commitment to social cohesion, minority rights, and building a more inclusive Myanmar. As the Executive Director of Mosaic Myanmar, I lead efforts to promote peace and inclusion through community dialogue and policy advocacy. My research interests span identity politics, citizenship, federalism, and state–society relations, with a specific focus on the experiences of Muslim and other unofficial communities in Myanmar. Alongside my fieldwork, I serve as a Research Fellow at Chiang Mai University and a Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University’s Myanmar Research Centre. I hold a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Coexistence from Brandeis University. My goal is to continually bridge the divide between theoretical research and real-world impact, ensuring that academic insights translate into meaningful policy engagement and lasting peace.
